Ashley Taylor is a licensed acupuncturist and a Nationally Board Certified Diplomate of Acupuncture (NCCAOM), which is the highest attainable national certification in the profession, and demonstrates mastery of acupuncture, Chinese medicine and an understanding of many basic Western biomedicine concepts. This infuses her practice with a unique complementary-based style. She received her Master’s of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MSAOM) from Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at New York Chiropractic College in 2016. She has extensive training and clinical experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from Canandaigua Veterans Affairs Medical Center (Canandaigua, NY), NYCC Campus Health Center (Seneca Falls, NY), Seneca Falls Health Center (Seneca Falls, NY), Rochester Outpatient Clinic (Rochester, NY), and Depew Health Center (Buffalo, NY). She has been trained in several other Chinese medicine modalities such as Cupping, Moxibustion, Tui Na, Qi Gong, Auricular Acupuncture, Eastern Dietary Therapy and Lifestyle advice.
Some common conditions Ashley treats are allergies, asthma, sinusitis, headaches, TMJ, back pain, sciatica, sports injuries, musculoskeletal problems, insomnia, anxiety, dizziness, depression, high blood pressure, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, addictions, indigestion, constipation, post-operative recovery, and general wellness.
While finishing her Master’s she completed an independent study at Strong Fertility Center at The University of Rochester Medical Center where she learned and observed patients with reproductive disorders undergo fertility treatment as well as developed an understanding of the physical and emotional toll couples with infertility face. With this enhanced knowledge, Ashley strives to help promote fertility, enhance IUI/IVF procedures and reduce stress.
Ashley is devoted to creating and maintaining optimal health and wellness through evidence-based acupuncture and Chinese medicine. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, working out, hiking, dancing, and live music.
